Amriso Kucho is a broom made from the flowers of Amriso, a natural grass found in Nepal. In the production process, the Amriso flowers are hand-cleaned, combed, and tightly woven onto a bamboo handle using needles and nylon thread, which makes the broom strong and durable. Since it is woven onto a bamboo handle, it is very convenient for sweeping while standing.

Real stories from people who trust and love Amriso Broom
“I have been using the Amriso broom at both my home and salon for the past 4 years. It has proven especially useful in my salon, where hair and other waste need to be cleaned frequently. The broom and dustpan make it quick and easy to clean while standing upright, saving both time and effort. Since it lasts for more than 2 years, this broom has been an incredibly practical and reliable choice for me.”

“I have been using this broom for 4 years now. What I love is that not only the broom, but also the jhadu (stick broom) and dustpan are designed for upright use, making them very convenient. Since I don't have to bend while using them, there's no strain on my back or waist. Plus, they are strong and durable. That's why I truly appreciate all the products of the Amriso Broom.”

“I have been using the Amriso broom for four years now, and I truly appreciate it. As someone who suffers from back pain, this broom has been a great relief because it allows me to sweep comfortably while standing upright. At my home, I keep four of these brooms—one each for indoor, outdoor, upstairs, and downstairs use. The company's jhadu (stick broom) is also good and convenient. It not only makes sweeping easier while standing but also helps in cleaning ceiling dust and cobwebs easily.”

“My husband served in the Singapore Police, so we lived there for a long time. After his retirement, we returned to Nepal. In Singapore, we used to use upright brooms, and before coming back, I thought we might not find such a convenient broom in Nepal. But when I saw the Amriso broom in the market here, I was so happy. This broom is in no way inferior to the ones we used in Singapore—in fact, it's even more durable. This one is made right here in our own country, which makes me feel proud as well.”

Bhagawati Limbu
Homemaker, Retired Family of Singapore Police
“I first bought this Amriso broom six years ago—it was different than traditional brooms. Sweeping while standing upright is very easy and convenient. The broom lasted for three years, and as my family also found it very useful, we purchased it again. Because this broom is made in Nepal using locally sourced raw materials, I feel very happy to use it.”

A Woman Entrepreneur's Vision
I am a woman entrepreneur with a Master's degree in Sociology. My academic journey shaped a deep understanding of society, labor, and sustainability.
This knowledge led me to create Amriso Kucho — a brand rooted in local resources, traditional skills, and environmentally responsible production.
We work closely with local communities to produce natural, sustainable brooms that not only serve households but also support rural livelihoods and preserve indigenous craftsmanship.
For us, Amriso Kucho is more than a product—it is a step toward inclusive and meaningful economic support for the country.
